Pegas Nonwovens has entered into a three-year contract with one of its major customers for the supply of nonwoven fabrics. The contract calls for the supply of more than 100,000 tons of nonwovens, representing more than €200 million in sales.

“One of the basic prerequisites for staying ahead of the competition in the nonwoven textile market is putting maximum effort into satisfying our customers’ requirements and expectations,” says Frantisek Rezac, CEO. “This contract underlines the ability of Pegas to successfully deliver on that promise. This contract is ideally timed to coincide with the launch of our new production line, which is now being put into operation.”

This fall the company began operating its ninth line in the Czech Republic, which will add about 20,000 tons of capacity to its operation. Called its most technologically advanced line yet, the new line is expected to enable Pegas to be even more focused on ultralight materials and new bicompoent applications.=
